Officials ONLY look at it from the point of "Public Safety" in as far as fire/natural disaster etc. To hell with the sanitation perspective. IMHO it should be considered a public safety issue with the sanitation aspect too. Wouldn't keeping people from catching e coli or c diff be considered protecting the safety of the public too? Some of these morons wouldn't see it that way. What has to happen is some VIP or important public official has to catch a disease like e coli in this way to get something done. I bet if Obama contracted e coli from a public restroom something would be done and real quick.
